The District Radio: Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 15, 2026 · App: The District Radio (com.thedistrict.radio) · Developer: The District

The District Radio is a simple app that plays Lac P's 24/7 live radio stream and links out to Lac P's music and social pages. This policy explains what happens with your information when you use it.

Information we collect

None. The app does not ask for, collect, store, sell or share any personal information. There are no accounts, no sign-in, no ads, no analytics and no tracking SDKs. The app does not access your contacts, location, camera, microphone, photos or files.

How the app works

Like any internet connection, these servers receive your IP address and basic technical request data (such as app/user agent and time of request) so they can deliver the audio. That data is handled by the streaming provider under its own policies; the app itself does not send any personal information or identifiers.

Links to other services

Buttons in the app open external sites and apps: YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, the album streaming page (even.biz) and the station web page. Once you leave the app, those services' own privacy policies apply.

Permissions

The app uses internet access (to stream audio), network state, a wake lock and a media playback foreground service (so audio keeps playing with the screen off and shows playback controls in your notifications and lock screen). These are used only for playback.

Data security & deletion

Because the app does not collect or store personal data on our side, there is nothing for us to delete. The app keeps no account or listening history; uninstalling it removes everything it stored on your device.

Children

The app is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new effective date.
